Guest Bio

Joanna Waldie is a family law lawyer. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in 2008 and a Juris Doctor in 2012.

She is a registered Collaborative Family Lawyer, and focuses on Collaborative practice, however, she also does litigation and appear in Court when alternatives to Court proceedings are not available or appropriate for the parties.

While family law is her niche, she also practices real estate, wills and estates, and estate litigation. She also has a past doing corporate commercial transactions, including the purchase/sale of a 2 for 1 pizza and pasta restaurant which seemed to be a rite of passage for all lawyers at her old firm.
